#5 Radio Friends
In this recording, the participants talked about their personal connection to radio, what their local radio scenes are like, what they enjoy most about the radio format, and why international encounters like this are important to them. They reflected on how radio can create community, offer space for experimentation, and connect people across different local contexts through shared practices and experiences. On the second day of the RadioRadioRadio project trip here in Budapest, we recorded two podcast episodes with community radio members. The project aims to make community radio more accessible to the younger generation from a technical and content production perspective. As part of the project, English-language podcast episodes are produced monthly, and the content is shared between the partner radio stations.
